Tangible Thoughts: Exploring Enactive Design Education

This thesis presents how contemporary theories of cognition and creativity can be
applied in the context of design education. Specifically, it applies Glăveanu and
Kaufman’s Creativity Matrix in the design of a Digital Prototyping course curriculum
for first-year undergraduate Product Design students. The findings contribute
to the field of design education by leveraging enactive cognition and the Creativity
Matrix principles in the teaching of Digital Prototyping.
